It tells the story of three very different families competing for the same 1920s Spanish style mansion that they think will solve all their problems. The exterior shots of the house resemble the house Mitchell and Cam lived in on Modern Family. 6.8 rating, why!? If possible I would give it 8.5. I experienced it as a 24 hour period. Okay, a little cheesy at times, but I just really like the cast and acting, it feels warm and heartfelt, and the crime thriller is interesting enough with a little twist, even if it’s not all grim and dark. The story is light and entertaining, but does have some darkness due to the main story. Like a nice but not too flashy piece of dark chocolate with strawberry frosting. Give it a try and you won’t be disappointed. Don’t expect a crime drama or gritty realism. This is a charming comedy with a dark twist.
