Just go with no expectations
Fairytale of New York Written by Jem Finer, Shane MacGowan Starring The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl. Comparing it to Slow Horses isn’t entirely fair because that show is amazing. I only watched it in one go for fun because I like Ben Whishaw.
Yes, it’s wildly implausible and plot holes abound
My husband said it was embarrassing and he couldn’t stop comparing it to Slow Horses. Since Slow Horses season 5 isn’t set to premiere for a few months, this is a decent substitute. The trick is to not overthink it and have the popcorn ready.
He was definitely not impressed (laughs)
I liked the chemistry between Knightley and Whishaw, and that was enough to keep me interested. If my husband were to rate it, he’d give the show a 3. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the biggest TV and streaming premieres this month.
