Landman, at least one who works in the oil industry, will act as an intermediary between exploration companies and landowners. Generally, a landowner’s job is to negotiate and finalize contracts with landowners who hold mineral rights to lease those rights to a company they represent. Basically, they own the land and secure leases to drill for oil and gas. As foremen on a construction site, they build roads, worker housing (human camp), supervise the assembly of excavators and the drilling of the well site itself, especially in remote areas. For someone so focused on her goals, bringing in an emotionally unstable, one-woman circus completely undermines the purpose of the show. Her character seems to disrupt the main narrative, adding unnecessary chaos rather than supporting his journey. The imagery doesn’t enhance the plot, it makes it harder to resolve and focus on seriousness. Similarly, both his wife and daughter’s roles in the series seem out of place. The wife seems emotionally unstable and the daughter seems to lack intellectual depth, making her contribution to the plot negligible. The daughter’s portrayal seems particularly shallow, as her character offers little more than surface involvement, which adds no value to the story. Also, these characters are constantly jumping around in provocative clothing, seemingly without any purpose. not only to attract views, but also not to match the tone of the series. Rather than enhancing the plot or character dynamics, this approach comes across as a superficial tactic for attention. It’s an odd and unnecessary addition that detracts from the overall quality of the narrative.
