A remake of The Mole Agent (2020)
Tale
Charles, a retired man, takes on a new lease on life when he answers an ad for a private investigator and becomes the mole in a secret investigation at a nursing home. Because let’s be honest, I’ll be the first to admit, I’m not even remotely sure this show is something I’m interested in, but somehow, it managed to hook me.
Before you know it, you’re so invested that you have to know whodunit!
All the characters are incredibly easy to love, and so relatable to a person in your life. It’s a gentle reminder that we’re all trying to do the same thing.
Enjoy life, so let’s do our best to be kind to each other and especially to each other
My favorite quote from the show is "Everything great in your life, when you look back on it, feels like a miracle"; it’s so poetic because it resonates with all of us. Let’s admit it’s a bit strange to see Ted Danson in that role, especially when you’re used to him as the Cheers character "Sam"; but very quickly "Charles"; “Sam.” A bittersweet, yet tender, reminder that Father Time favorites aren’t playing any of them.
It’s another "crime" show
I hope you watch it, and you recognize & empathize with the daily challenges some in our society live with, everyday of our lives.
